How to buy a PoCC
For fast, convenient, and transparent carbon compensation Coorest co-developed a fiat on-ramp with Arbon. This allows people to buy a proof of carbon compensation (PoCC) certificate without having to interact with wallets or smart contracts. This solution is accessible via the Coorest main website:
Users can buy a carbon compensation amount of their choice (in kilograms) with their credit card or Apple Pay. By clicking on the Buy PoCC with fiat button the following pop-up screen appears:
The user has to fill in:
Amount of CO2 to be compensated (in kilograms)
Enter the reason for compensating CO2
Name to be displayed on the PoCC certificate
email for receiving the PoCC certificate
After filling in the details click on the continue button to proceed to the payment option
After completing the payment details the user will receive the PoCC certificate in their mailbox. The transactions hash with the on-chain compensation event is attached to the email. The PoCC NFT is stored in the wallet of Arbon.
